This will always remain my favorite vintage lesbian art… Do I even have to break it down for you?

Edit: Goodness. Nearly every reblog of this is something along the lines of “but hOw iS sHe sMoKiNg uNdErWatEr??” and “THIS PROMOTES RAPE CULTURE!”

Guys, she’s eating fishies from that tin, it’s not a cig. And this is old ass erotic magazine art of a mermaid looking up through glass at skirts. This isn’t something anyone is looking to for guidance on how to treat women. @_@;;;

This is actually pretty funny and clever lol :)

Hello my name is Reb, my student loan debt is ridiculous, and I really need a shiny new computer.  YOU can help make this goal a reality by throwing money at me to draw cool things!

  • paypal only
  • I will be happy to draw characters, creatures, monsters, plants, animals, and other such nonsense- but please no gore or porn
  • extra characters are $8 each for color, $5 each for sketches
  • flat color is the only art I’m willing to do background on, but if you really really want a background we can discuss prices.
  • message me if interested, or if you have any questions!

Thanks for your time!  I’ll start with ten slots open and go from there.

"Nickelodeon Nostalgia" by NAS Storyboard Artist Aaron Austin

I’ve been at Nickelodeon for about 3 months now, and I wanted to make something that paid homage to the Nickelodeon cartoons I grew up with. It’s amazing how much a cartoon can mean to you even after so many years. I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to help create shows for today’s kids!” -Aaron

An awesome piece by Aaron!

What’s the one with the book? I cant remember

this image is quite literally six years old now and that’s wild to me. there are actual real live human beings younger than this .jpg who are walking and talking unassisted. i feel so old. i feel death approaching. will i sleep? will i dream?

Old 4chan memes are so incomprehensible now. Matthew and I were just talking about this last night, I was describing a Hot Topic in 2003. “It was a simpler, more ancient time,” I said, “When a meme had a real longetivity to it. Years and years. And when somebody understood the bizarre reference, it was actually really cool, like: Yeah! We’re both internet weirdos! High-five! Now I see something funny and I’m already immediately exhausted by it, because tomorrow it’ll be on the Ellen show and my grandma will share it on facebook, and next week you can buy it on t-shirts at Urban Outfitters, and six months from now it’s going to be in a bunch of parody movie trailers. By the time South Park gets it in their show six days later it’s stale. It won’t go quietly into the night like ‘I’ma chargin mah lazers’ — an honorable death, at the highest it could go. It just immediately is sold and consumed and fucking awful. Immediately. And then it’s dead, before it even happened.”

i cannot fucking believe capitalism and consumerism ruined memes. of all things. memes. it fucking baffles me how the world could come to this. god help us all.
